Stop Turkish attacks in North East Syria
Yesterday on June 20, once again Turkey attacked north east Syria and killing three personalities and wounded one in a drone attack near Syria-Turkey border in Qabre Hewore, Qamishli region. As a result of the drone attack, Yusra Derwêş, co-leader of Kamishlo Canton, her deputy Lîman Şiwêş, and Chaldean Christian driver Firat Tuma lost their lives. The other co-leader of Qamishlo Canton, Gabi Shamoun from Syriac community, sustained injuries in the attack.
We remember and honor the martyrs of 1915 Sayfo genocide
There is exactly 108 unforgettable years since the world and Syriac (Chaldean-Assyrian-Aramaic) people witnessed one of the most tragic events in the history of the humanity. Starting prior to the World War I and executed during the war, Ottoman-Turkish authorities planned and organized systematic destruction of ancient Christian communities of Mesopotamia and Anatolia notably Syriac people, Armenians and Greek Pontics.

Dossier on the situation of the Syriac people on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the treaty of Lausanne
On 24 July 2023, it will have been a century since the signing of the Treaty of Lausanne, an international document that led to the denial of recognition of the Syriac-Assyrian-Chaldean-Aramaic people. It is of vital importance that the states and international powers concerned reconsider the future of the Syriac people and correct the mistakes made in the course of history to ensure the preservation of their identity and existence. The rights of non-Muslim minorities defined in the third paragraph of the Treaty of Lausanne, in Articles 37 to 45, have in no way been applied to the Syriac people.
Anniversary of ESU Foundation
On May 15th 2004 in the European capital Brussels, European Syriac Union, ESU laid down its foundation with the presence of political, social, cultural figures and long standing friends of Syriac people and activists from Europe as anew platform for a Syriac people in a Europe for the recognition of the rights and a bridge between homeland and diaspora.

Today, we are here gathered to remember and honour innocent souls and martyrs of Armenian genocide women, children and men killed for their identity. First, I would like to pay tribute to the martyrs of 1915, and we will always remember their sacrifice and devotion to avoid such inhuman acts and crimes against humanity and genocide. We must continue our combat of recognition and justice towards history to offer bright, democratic, and free future for our children and coming generations.

Statement to the situation of Lebnon
During the last years amid political, economic, social and military developments and tectonic shifts and calculations, Lebanon is in the middle of deep crisis affecting all segments of the society while some foreign and internal forces paralyzing state structures and infiltrating institutions. Since one week, following an interview by President of Universal Syriac Union Party, Ibrahim Mrad is facing allegations, accusations and threats by Hezbollah supporters and questioned then by the pressure coming from above mentioned entity.
